Come nasce il suo studio?
Subito dopo l’esame per l’abilitazione professionale sostenuto nel 1989, decido di aprire lo studio professionale come libero professionista in quel di Cologno al Serio, dove tutt’oggi continua la mia professione.
Potrebbe descriverci il suo metodo progettuale?
Il principio generale che ho sempre adottato in fase di progettazione è “Prima la comodità degli ambienti e poi l’aspetto estetico”, in quanto ritengo che gli ambienti devono essere confortevoli e di facile utilizzo per l’utente finale.
Quali sono per lei i vantaggi principali delle costruzioni in legno?
I vantaggi delle costruzioni in legno si evidenziano già dalla fase di cantiere: la costruzione risulta essere più veloce e il cantiere molto più sicuro per i lavoratori.
Altro grosso vantaggio è sicuramente l’aspetto antisismico della struttura, che grazie alla sua leggerezza e alla tipologia costruttiva riduce di molto, anzi, quasi azzera il pericolo di crollo. Infine, il comfort finale degli ambienti.

Quale elemento non può mai mancare nelle sue realizzazioni?
Non ho un elemento in particolare, ma sicuramente la comodità dell’uso degli ambienti è uno dei principali.
Con Marlegno ha collaborato per la realizzazione di un progetto: ce ne può parlare?
La prima esperienza è stata la realizzazione di una villetta unifamiliare a Cologno al Serio nel 2012, grazie alla sensibilità del committente al tema della sostenibilità ambientale.
La casa con strutture in legno è stata sicuramente una piacevole scoperta: come dicevo, l’ambiente del cantiere risulta essere nettamente diverso dalla costruzione tradizionale, più veloce, più pulito, più sicuro…”più” in tutti gli aspetti.
